Nick's Story...
Hi friends and boxer lovers! My name is Nick and I am absolute love bug! I am a nine year old boxer who despite not having had the best care in my earlier years is the sweetest boy in the world! I am getting all jazzed up now - just needed some good food and a little spruce up - and I am living in a foster home in perfect harmony with another dog, two cats, and two children. I love them all and I am low maintenance, incredibly fun and playful and also always happy to warm your toes. I am an all around gem!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $100
I am living in foster care so contact the pixie project if you would like to get together!
sincerely,
mr. nick the 'snuggle bug' boxer

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nick, a Portland Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
