Eli's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Eli's Story...
Eli is a love sponge! He is very young- around one year old. He is a Spaniel or Coon hound/Pit mix with the most gorgeous green eyes. He plays with all dogs and is just a complete joy. Eli is fostering in Upstate NY, but can be transported to Pa if you're interested in meeting this great boy.

He loves his Kong, Nylabones and playing tug of war with his foster sister Sasha. He is awesome in the bath and for getting his nails clipped. He is also really good about going in his crate. His foster family is working on basic commands with him.

He is eager to please and just wants as much love as he can get! He's good with kids! He's just an all around great dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eli, a Dallas American Pit Bull Terrier/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Coonhound for sale in Dallas, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Coonhound breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
