Brudor's Story...
"Brudor" meaning "Brother" in German, is a great name for this fella. He is a typical beagle with a great attitude. His former owner took him to a shelter simply because he grew to be larger than they expected. Poor guy! He is quite large as far as beagles go, measuring about 18" from his shoulder to the ground. He is a gorgeous boy who gets along very well with other dogs....but NO cats allowed! Brudor will steal your heart when you meet him. He just needs somebody to love him for who he is! Don't we all?

Brudor is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations..not to mention he is a picture of health! His adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brudor, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
