Bugsy's Story...
Meet handsome and friendly Bugsy! This adorable dog has become a staff favorite because of his endearing personality and charming ways. He has lots of energy, as most puppies do, and enjoys chasing toys (though he doesn't quite understand the concept of fetch yet) or romping in the yard with his humans. He is learning to sit when asked, and would love to attend puppy obedience classes with you to learn more tricks. He is very food-motivated, so he's sure to be a quick study! This boy thinks he is a lap dog and is happiest when he's receiving lots of love and attention from you. Can you give this happy-go-lucky puppy a home? For more information, please call Kathy at 858-205-9974.

To meet Bugsy, please go to the County Animal Shelter at 5821 Sweetwater Rd in Bonita today!

When looking to add a new member to your family, please consider one of the homeless dogs at the county shelter. Open your heart and your home - you will be glad you did.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bugsy, a San Diego German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
