My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Gabby and I’m a 1 ½ year old black/rust dobergirl. I have natural ears and a docked tail, I’m a little on the small side but I more than make up that with my larger than life personality! I have found that my four foster brothers and sisters are great fun and put up with my silly antics wonderfully. I love to reach out and give them a love nip when they walk by if I want to play! I’ve decided I really like the attention from my foster mom all to myself. She calls me an attention hog, I don’t know what this means but I’m sure it’s something good because she gives me tons of hugs and kisses. She thinks I’ll do best in a home with only human friends to play with. I can be a little naughty with my foster brothers and sisters. I love toys and am very respectful of the toys that do not belong to me. My foster brother taught me quickly that I shouldn’t steal. I love to run and play, and I will most likely need a fenced yard. Sometimes I get lonely if left too long and will try to find you. So unless you have a six foot fence, don’t leave me for too long. I’m doing very well learning the house rules. I do not get on the furniture and I’m doing well at telling my foster mom when I want to go out. She still uses the crate training method with me just so that I am successful in my house training. I don’t mind staying in my crate and I’m used to sleeping in there at night. My foster mom makes sure I have a fun toy in there to keep me occupied and I never soil or tear up my bedding. I’m very quiet in my crate until I call for my mom to take me outside. I’m a very good girl and I’m looking for a very nice family to provide me a forever home. I’ll play well with their other kids, especially the human ones! I promise!!
