Roulette's Story...
Roulette is an approx 18mo black/rust girlie that loves to play and really loves to earn her treats. Her other favorite activities include cuddling, kissing, seeing what you’re up to, following you around and looking as adorable as possible. Roulette is high-prey drive so she does not do well with kitties, small dogs or small children. She was adopted once before but came back to us because she plays so hard that it has the potential to become prey-drive and needs supervision with firm discipline, but she is great with dogs who can keep up with her. She’s potty-trained, knows “sit” “down” “no” “leave-it” “gentle” and “out”, is working on “stay” and is crate-trained and easy to have in a busy household. Roulette listens well but is a bundle of activity, so she needs a person who will spend time in obedience classes, polishing up her manners and teaching her more helpful commands. She had previously broken her back leg but it has been healed for some time and only gives her trouble when sitting on a slippery surface. She needs a home with a yard and a big brother to play with (big sisters are good too - the more siblings the better) so that she can get all her energy out playing and be good as gold for you. If you have a home kinda like this, I really suggest you get to know her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roulette, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
