Toby's Story...
Hi - I'm Toby. I'm really affectionate and friendly. and am looking for a family to call my own. I do have a few special needs I should mention. My tail was broken at one time, and is a little bit sensitive, so I don't much like to have my tail petted. I also have some vision issues, so I'm looking for a home that is a little bit on the quiet side - I sometimes get startled when stuff is going on around me too quickly for my eyes to see it. I'm neutered and up-to-date on my shots. For more information on me and to fill out an application contact Oreo's at oreosadoptions@yahoo.com or call 218-591-7200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Proctor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Proctor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Proctor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Proctor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Proctor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Proctor paves the way for another one to be saved.
