Flint in Madison, WI.'s Story...
Flint is one of the sweetest, most gentle boys we have met. He is very shy, but loves to be touched and gently scratched behind the ears. His tail wags a mile a minute when you talk to him and he loves to spend time in your lap, as well as snuggle with you in bed at night. He will follow you everywhere, but if you walk toward him or reach toward him too quickly, he may shy away from you.
He had a pretty rough start in life and did not receive the best of care, but he so wants to be close to his family and to give and receive love. Flint is doing very well on house and leash training and is ready now for a forever home. He would like a quiet family with no children and someone home with him all of the time. He also needs another dog companion, preferably a female, and a securely fenced yard.
Flint is 4 years old, 12.5 lbs, up-to-date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped, heart worm negative, on preventative and neutered. He has Gingivitis, so his teeth must be brushed every day. He is located near Madison, WI.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get Flint and that can only happen if he is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the adopter.
If you are interested in adopting Flint, please submit an adoption application at www.abgra.org. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com.
