Lacie- Adopted's Story...
Lacie mom was a purebred shih tzu, and her dad must have either been a schnauzer, or a small wirehaired terrier. She only weighs about 3 pounds now, and is 8 weeks old. She will probably be 10, 15 pounds at the most. She is very sweet, and the most people oriented in the litter. She just wants to be held and loved on, and is very playful. She is too small and young to consider housetrained, but she tries her best, and is being crate trained.
She has had her first shots, and has been dewormed, and will be spayed. There will be a $200 adoption fee, and she will some with, her kennel/blanket, collar/leash, bag of food, and toys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacie- Adopted, a Nashville Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
