Information:
Quixote is an extremely sweet little basset hound. He is small for a basset hound but that is merely his size, his personality is huge! In less than an hour he mapped out the house and conquered the stairs. He enjoys toys with squeakers but hasn't slowed down much to really play with any toy for any length of time, yet. Quixote really just wants his human close by and loves to be on your lap or at your feet if he can't get to your lap. Quixote loves to go for walks and enjoy all the smells that his little nose can find!

Quixote is perfectly fine with cats, once he smells them he will leave them alone. and go back to playing or cuddling.

If you're looking for a very loyal, smart little guy to add to your family then look no further.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quixote, a Spring City Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Spring City, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Spring City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring City paves the way for another one to be saved.
