My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

New arrival, Bear is a 1 year old American Eskimo pulled from a kill shelter. His owner surrendered him as he could not afford to keep him, we were told.

We will post more about him once we come to know him better. For now, we can say he is strong, very friendly and a huge fluffy boy. We were told the owner had two dogs, but only surrendered Bear, as he would pick on the other dog. When he arrived here, he was instantly very submissive to a female blue heeler that was upset he got her nice crib and she had to move out of it. He is always very happy at dinner time and really seems to be enjoying his stay with us while we find him a new home.

All of our pets are altered prior to placement, vet examined, vaccinated, heartworm tested, prescirbed Drontal to ensure they are free of parasites such as hook, whip, round and tapeworms. Our pets are required to be maintained on heartworm and flea preventative throughout their life.

The first step in adopting Bear, or any of our pets, is to request an application via email at aospca@frontier.com.
