Look at this handsome lad!! Bailey's happy kisses and tail wags are testament to the great progress he's made--he's come a long way from that fearful, shy dog that came to us. Bailey came to us from a shelter where he was taken by his family after being viciously attacked by the family's Swiss Mountain dog and unable to overcome his subsequent fear issues. The shelter asked us to step in and take this lovable boy who just wants a safe home to call his own. He is about 4 years old, is housebroken, neutered and up to date on his shots.
Bailey needs a strong, loving, leader to continue to help him work through his fear issues. He is a real gentleman on a leash, so walking should be fun for him and for his handler! He also knows "sit" and "down," and is happy to give you his paw when asked. Because Bailey's experiences with the dog in his household were not positive ones, he is still somewhat tentative around other canines. He has made friends with other dogs, so a home with another dog he feels comfortable with will help him become the happy balanced pet he should be.
