Cougar's Story...
Cougar used to be Shadow's bestest friend in the whole world! Shadow was our wonderful shelter mascot who, since puppyhood, put up with all the feline residents. In Cougar's case, Shadow made a special friend. These two were always to be found together until Shadow passed away at the ripe old age of 15.
Now Cougar is ready to spread his wings and find his forever home. He is a very friendly cat who is good with other felines and, obviously, dogs. He is very affectionate and just a ton of fun...a real character. Please consider welcoming Cougar into your home.
Starting Monday, November 15th, 2010 George can be visited at the Abbotsford Animal Hospital in Aurora, ON at 14958 Yonge St.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cougar, a Toronto Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
