Luke--PETSMART's Story...
UPDATE--You can now meet Luke in person at the Muncie PetSmart!! Luke is a very nice young man. His approximate date of birth is March 23, 2010. He is such a love bug. He was adopted in January 2011, but returned in April 2011. It was no fault of his. The adopters just were not ready to have a cat in their lives and poor Luke was the victim of their immaturity. Luckily, they did call us and return him to our care so that we can help find his true "forever" home! His favorite thing to do is to lay in your arms and get his lovin'. He also loves any toys he can get his little paws on! He plays great with other cats and would adjust to a gentle dog. He also does well with gentle children. Check out his third picture...doesn't he look like an angel...they all do when they are sleeping--too cute, I could not resist snapping a picture! Interested in getting him a friend to play with, too? Cole and Axl grew up with him and are posted on this site!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke--PETSMART, a Muncie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muncie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muncie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muncie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muncie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muncie paves the way for another one to be saved.
