THIS IS SOOKI....and she is saying in these pictures...."I don't feel very well cuz I have a runny nose" -- but despite not feeling well, this is one of the cutest, 12.7 lb, 1.5 yr old, charcoal/white/black Shih Tzu we've ever had! What a doll she is! She has a very puppy-like demeanor...and still needs to learn how to take treats "gently!!" She prances like a little show dog, now that she is beginning to feel a little better! She is quiet and loving....now that she is feeling better, she is giving us gentle little kisses -- came from Lancaster shelter with an awful case of kennel cough Sookie really enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn't have an ounce of fear in her! She greets little dogs, big dogs, little people, big people, men, women....and we're not sure about cats, but think she would probably make friends FAST! The shelter shaved her down and didn't leave anything but her ears....and they were matted to the bone (but our wonderful groomer combed them out!!) You can just tell that when her coat grows out she will be a stunner...but even now, she has the most expressive eyes! Sooki seems to be potty trained, as she holds it or goes on pee pads, but we'll never guarantee! She has such a wonderful personality, she could probably go to a home with children (8+ yrs old, please)....as she is playful and very animated! We can just imagine her all dressed up and ready to go! A home with another dog or two...and of course, you, will make her day, month, year, life!! Do you have some room in your heart for Sooki?? We hope so!

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064).. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
