La Dolce Vita!
My name is Bella which means beautiful in Italian! I'm new to rescue and I'm happy to tell you that I was saved from a very high volume, low survival rate pound this weekend. A nice lady in a car came to pick me up and take me to her home to play with all of my cousins! (That's me on the right just before I busted out!)
My records say I am 2 years old and my foster mom keeps telling me to "Mangia!" She says I'm too thin because my ribs are showing. She's probably right since I did miss quite a few meals in the shelter I used to live in. I'm proud to say that I'm on the road to good health - I have all my vaccines, I've been spayed and I'm getting microchipped this week so that I will always be able to find my way home. I also had fleas but they're gone now - I got a bath and I smell great! Oh and you should see my coat shine!! Bellissima! (that means pretty!)
I'm going to be with my foster family for a week or two and updates will be posted on me so you'll know what kind of progress I'm making! I'm a quick learner so stay tuned and please - check out the other pups on this board who are looking for new homes too!
