Luke's Story...
He is one of the best puppies I have ever seen. Does not chew on anything except his bone. Is fairly well house broken, except for a few minor pee accidents, but holds it fairly well until he gets outside. Still gets a little excited, but listens to commands really well for a puppy. Good with kids. Got sick in the car on Monday, but after riding around with me all week has not gotten sick at all anymore. Really well crate trained, extremely playful and independent. Good with men and women. I snuck him into my hotel and had to leave him for a second to go get food and didnt mess up a thing (and that was four nights in a row). He is a great boy looking for a great home.

Luke is around 8mths old and 35lbs. He is updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm neg. His adoption fee is $100

Luke will be available for adoption this weekend

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
