My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Love a precocious puppy?? Here she is! Oh-so-cute Autumn is one busy, full of life pup at just 5 months old. Autumn oozes personality and zest for life– she throws herself wholeheartedly into everything, and she is soaking up the world as fast as it comes her way!

Autumn came to WBCR from an Idaho shelter, and we know nothing of her past. But it’s clear we have a prize on our hands!! Autumn is curious, optimistic, and well-adjusted – and she manages to find fun no matter what!! She’s flirtatiously & friendly meeting new people, and does great with other dogs too, although she can certainly be a bit of a pesky puppy with her older canine siblings she is just learning to play with. She’s a very busy little girl trying to keep tabs on the other 3 dogs in her foster home, and when they are all chilling out, Autumn will collect all the toys in the house and play with those, and then when she gets bored with that she will jump up on your lap for a quick cuddle. After a quick nap, it’s time to play again!! Her favorite toy is a squeaky football and she loves to race about the house squeaking it. Autumn is a typical BC pup and is very interested in and reactive to movement…she loves to chase and nip at the heels of the fetching dogs in her foster home. Because of this, she needs an adoptive family with herding breed experience, and she will not be placed in a home with children. The jury is still out on cats. Autumn is a high energy pup who will do best in an active home where she can get lots of physical and mental stimulation. She enjoys all kinds of outdoor adventures – hiking, running, skiing – and we see dog sport potential in this little girl, too.

Autumn is smart as a whip, and is picking up on her lessons quickly. She’s housetrained, cratetrained, and learning the basics. She will do best with an adopter who has the time and energy to not only continue teaching her all the things she needs to know to be a great companion, but who will also set fair and clear boundaries and who can direct her interest in movement to appropriate outlets.

If you are looking for the full BC puppy package – Autumn may be what you are looking for! With her brains, athleticism, and instincts – and a charming nature to top it all off – Autumn is one full o’potential puppy who is sure to bring years of delight to some lucky adopter.

Autumn is fully vetted and living in a loving foster home near Jackson, WY.
