Cassie in Houston's Story...
Cassie is 5 years old and waiting for her furever home. She is a doll and is now learning to relax and enjoy her life!

CASSIE is my name and water is my game! I love to swim, jump into the shower with you, and I have a feeling a hose or sprinkler would be amazing! I have just discovered affection and I will do anything to keep it coming! I am learning that love and affection comes quietly and gently sometimes and that if I sit very still, I get more of it. Still, I love bouncing around and enjoying the outdoors with its new smells, funny feeling grasses and the lake, the LAKE is a blast! I saw a fish jump, really considered catching it, but I couldnt find it! I am getting pretty good on the leash and though I've yet to learn my commands I have this inner feeling that I should do right and Im really working on it! Hurry, contact my foster mom and take me home with you. jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie in Houston, a Houston Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
