Victoria's Story...
Victoria is a 3-year old female Rat Terrier mix with a sweet and loving personality. She weighs 16 lbs and is easy to handle, and she is also well behaved when getting a bath! She loves attention and loves to sit on your lap and is very friendly with strangers and likes children. She also likes to go for car rides and sits nicely in the car when going on an outing.

Victoria is a pretty mellow little girl and has not shown any aggression towards anyone and gets along well with other dogs. She does also like to play and run around, but isn't at all hyper. You will fall in love with her when you meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Victoria, a Vista Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Vista, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
