Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Chika is a bundle of happy puppy energy, running up to the kennel door as people pass by, forepaws clinging to the wire-mesh, ever-eager for someone to stoop down and give her some loving attention. If you enter her kennel, Miss Chika will show you all her toys and try to engage you in a game of her devise. Smart little girl! This adorable pup will need a home where someone is willing to provide her the structure, consistency and boundary-setting so necessary for raising a good canine citizen. Extremely social, Chika has been going on outings to the nearby Albany Bulb where she plays appropriately with other pups and adult dogs, taking correction well when necessary. She has also discovered the coveted tennis ball, and has become an ace retriever, taking it right back to her human, whether the ball is on land or in water. Chika adores people of all ages (but should probably be in a home where the children are eight years or older) and loves to meet new ones. She will run up to interested humans and shake her whole little body with delight at meeting a new friend. No shrinking violet here! If you have lots of time, patience, and determination (and big reserves of hugs and kisses), come meet Chika and see if she is the right pup for you.
