Kodiak's Story...
I'm an 8-month-old neutered male Husky/Shepherd mix. I'm extremely friendly, sweet and adorable. My great personality is truly amazing considering the environment I came from. CageFree rescued me from an animal hoarder who had over 200 animals including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and turtles. The living conditions were filthy and I was given only stale bread to eat. Despite this malnutrition and neglect, I am the absolute sweetest guy in the world! I'm very submissive with all my human friends, I'm great with other dogs, and I'm quickly learning all the new lessons of my new life. I have recently completed a training program and I've mastered all my basic obedience commands. You couldn't ask for a better companion than me! So please contact CageFree if you'd like to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kodiak, a Los Angeles Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
