My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INITIAL BIO 11/18/2010: Maximo (Max for short) is an adorable 2 year old 12.2 lb little boy who is currently being fostered in Boynton Beach while he makes his way to his permanent foster home in Largo, FL (near St Pete). Max shared a cage in the shelter with Cleo where they were both found as strays. Due to their striking resemblance, we believe they are related. We thought Max would be adopted from the pound, but when all three adopters failed to show for him, UYR quickly
came to his rescue.

Maximo is a very outgoing, lovable boy. He loves to go for walks and loves to give sloppy kisses. He is nearly 100% housetrained, and he gets along well with small dogs. He appears to be a little intimidated by very large dogs, and likes to chase cats. He plays with toys and loves to take long naps. He is a gem of a dog and will make some family SO happy.

Max and Cleo will be sharing a foster home this week, but we do not believe at this time that they will need to be adopted together. Please stay tuned for updates as we get to know Max better. He will be getting groomed soon and will be having his dental under anesthesia next week. After that he will be ready to go!
