Cowboy's Story...
Ride ‘em Cowboy! Actually, I need a ride! A ride out of this place and into a home!!! What do ya think? I know hitch hiking is frowned upon these days…and heck…I don’t even have a thumb…But I need a ride! What do ya think? I’m a low key fella…a little shy but I warm up fast. I’m a loving little dude, really, I love everyone! I’m a little shy, so if you have kids I would prefer they aren’t the kind that will scream a lot and yank on my ears…OK? I LOVE other dogs, and I even do cats …So how about it, pick me up at 8?

1 year old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy, a Portland Rat Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
