Tigger's Story...
Sex: Male
Type: DLH - Orange Tabby
Age Group: Senior
Date of Birth: January, 2003
Bonded Pair: Hank

Tigger and his buddy Hank came to us when their owner passed away. They were hiding in the house for about 1 week before they were found, clearly upset by the passing of their loving owner. Tigger is a mushball who takes a little time to warm up to people, but once he does he comes out and rolls around in front of you asking for a tummy rub. It took about 2 weeks with our volunteers before he showed trust in us..since then he has been wonderful. Tigger is a Senior cat but is very healthy. He does need to be regularly brushed as it is harder as cats age for them to keep their fur in top condition! Tigger and Hank are inseperable therefore we are adopting them together for $150.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a Strathmore Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Strathmore, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Strathmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Strathmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Strathmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Strathmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
