Nigini is a lovely tuxedo girl, born in 2006. She was left on the front stoop after her owner fell upon hard times. She simply cannot get enough attention! Just the sound of a human’s voice coaxes Nigini out of where she’s relaxing, and she promptly comes forward asking for love. She likes to roll on her back and squirm around in delight if you rub her, and she can not resist an available lap to snuggle upon.

Although Nigini doesn't seemed thrilled by the company of her feline roommates here at the Bucktown Branch, she might be able to co-exist with another mellow cat on the homefront. Nigini can become over-stimulated with too much petting, but this behavior can be altered with some patience, and often works itself out when the cat is in a calm environment. Nigini is otherwise well-adjusted and just about the sweetest cat you'll meet!
