PEETIE's Story...
Peetie is a sweet, gentle, cheery two year old Cairn/Skye terrier mix.
She gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats.
Peetie is a bit shy with people until she gets to know you.
She is housebroken and able to use the doggy door.
Peetie loves going on short or long walks.
She’s remains extremely calm during grooming: baths, brushing, and nails.
This 12 pound cutie is surprisingly low to medium energy and although she’s a terrier, she’s not a digger.
She’s a special girl who deserves a special home.
This rescue is being fostered in Brooksville, FL.
There is a $275.00 adoption donation, for Peetie.
This helps to reimburse us for our veterinary expenses- vaccines, worming, mandatory spay/neuter, micro-chip, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEETIE, a Brooksville Skye Terrier/Cairn Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Skye Terrier/Cairn Terrier for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Skye Terrier/Cairn Terrier puppy from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Skye Terrier/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Skye Terrier/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
