Libby's Story...
Food, attention and love ring my bell! My name is Libby (short for Liberty) and I am a very loyal and focused on you. My favorite spot is on your lap. I love all people and have done well around children ages 10 and up. There is not a shy bone in my body. I am always game for a car ride! I am smart and eager to please. I love to play fetch or go for walks. I’m your typical cattle dog when it comes to play time with other dogs – I am an instant tomboy running around, wrestling and knocking over my furry playmates. My favorite game is stalking another dog and then pouncing when the moment is right! I’m a happy girl with enough energy to always keep up with you but I know when it’s time to be calm and just hang out, too.

Libby is a spayed 3-year-old red female weighing 30 pounds. She is up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. Libby is being fostered near Greenville, SC

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Siler City Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
