Here's what the humans have to say about me:
4 year old black and tan female. 12 pounds. Docked tail, cropped ears. Rescued from a breeder.
"Deplorable. Hideous. Disgusting. Abusive." Those are just a few words to describe the puppy mill setting in which this sweet baby languished for 4 years. She was used for breeding then discarded when the mill (thankfully) closed.
Miss Addie has transitioned to a life of love and kindness rather well. She enjoys human company and is a major lap dog. She likes to play with the other dogs and snuggle on the chair with them. She can walk UP steps, but is afraid to walk DOWN. She hasn't learned to jump on and off the furniture and may never learn that. She sleeps in bed snuggled VERY CLOSELY to my neck! I take Addie outside every morning and throw a party for her when she potties, but she does still have accidents in the house. She will need a home with a bit of patience and someone willing to go outside with her to make sure she potties. She wears a little doggie diaper in the house and doesn't mind it. Her best friend is Naomi!
