Chip's Story...
Chip is an 11 pound male American Eskimo, approximately 4 years old, who was found as a stray and turned over to Four Peaks by his rescuer. He is cute and sweet natured, with a poofy, soft coat that is primarily white with some areas of light tan. He is very friendly, lively and eager to please, and longs to be close to his people at all times. He is good with the dogs in his foster home and generally okay with the cats, although he gets pretty excitable with the fast moving ones. He is not a barker, walks well on leash, but does not like to be crated. Chip has been neutered, microchipped, and brought up to date on his shots and is ready to be adopted into a permanent home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Scottsdale American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
