Biography: Harrison was a stray found in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania. He was turned into the Luzerne County SPCA before he found his way to our shelter. He is a handsome sweet boy. He would be so appreciative of a forever home where he could know he will never be turned out to the streets again. He takes great pleasure in racing around investigating his surrounding during exercise time. Harrison loves to show off his attitude! There is a lot of personality in this little bunny!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harrison, a Newport Mini Rex was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mini Rex for sale in Newport, or seeking a Mini Rex from a breeder in Newport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mini Rex breeders who help with Mini Rex rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport paves the way for another one to be saved.
