Carrie's Story...
Carrie is one of four siblings, a girl with 2 sisters and one brother. She is all white like her brother and is the quietest one in the family right now. She prefers to sit on a lap and watch everyone else run around like the puppies they are! Carrie is an eight week old Lab/Heeler mix who enjoys hugs and snuggling. All of the puppies are still very small and learning about the world around them. They live in a house with two large dogs, a cat and one human and all of the puppies get along with all of the above very well! Check out all the siblings: Mr. Big, Carrie, Samantha and Miranda on this website. The puppies will be at the Overland Park Petsmart on Saturday August 5th and the 19th from 12-3.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carrie, a Overland Park Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
