These boys are not brothers, although Matty's brothers look just like Lionel. Lionel was found at just a couple of weeks old and was bottle fed until he could eat on his own. Kittens need to teach each other how hard to play and Lionel was greatly in need of some instruction. Matty's sweet, patient nature did the trick. They play constantly, but nicely, now.
Matty lost an eye due to infection from an injury that occured prior to his rescue, but this did not slow him down a bit, nor impair him in any way. He loves to leap in the air and pounce! on anything that moves. He has a very strong purr, and was everyone's favorite patient during his stay at the vet.
Matty was born around the first of April and Lionel is about a month younger. Matty is neutered and finished with his vaccines, and Lionel will be done with his vaccines soon.
