Sad Eyes:('s Story...
This handsome little dude is Jerry Sad Eyes. He was rescued from living with a vagrant and 10 other dogs in Central Park by Pets Alive in Middletown, NY. Jerry's eyes are sad because he has seen too much and cannot express all the horror he has been through. No matter what Jerry Sad Eyes has been through in his seven years on this earth, he still has hope for a bright future with a kind human being. He is a sweet, affectionate, intelligent dog who did not deserve what fate handed to him. But, you can give him the life he was born to live; a safe, loving environment where he can be the best companion you have ever had. Would you like to give Jerry Sad Eyes a reason to be very happy? If so, CONTACT PETS ALIVE AT: Adoption of Jerry Sad Eyes is contingent upon a completed application, a vet reference, and a home visit. Our group can facilitate if the adoption is approved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sad Eyes:(, a Smithtown Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Smithtown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Smithtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
