BURNIE's Story...
Hi. I'm Burnie and I'm a real lady's man. I love the lady who rescued me from that terrible shelter, I love the lady who transported me, and I slathered the female vet tech with kisses. Okay, so maybe I get a little overly enthusiastic and could use some training, especially with that leash stuff. But I do "sit" on request. I'm a robust 90 lbs. of young lab energy--how can I help but be happy? Things weren't looking good at all at that shelter place; I've been given another chance at life. Ready for some heavy duty love? I'm your guy!
I'll be spending the next few days getting ready for my forever home , and in the meantime, I need a foster home. Oh! If anyone would like to let me blow off a little steam while I'm getting prepped for my debut, I'm ready to go.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BURNIE, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
