Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poppy is a very sweet and VERY SMALL red and white brindle colored Pitbull Terrier mix with a very small, skinny face. She is a young girl that is only about 2 years old. She is a tiny, but chubby little thing – a “pocket pittie” that is about knee high and weighs about 40 pounds. Despite the fact that she was not well cared for by her prior owner and was in HORRIBLE physical condition when she brought into rescue, she is just as sweet as can be and is now in very good health! She is happy, sweet, and extremely friendly with people. In fact, the poor girl seems starved for attention and just wants affection! She gets along well with other friendly dogs.
Poppy is healthy, spayed, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt her, foster her, or take her into your rescue group please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets. She is currently living in a kennel in Steger, Illinois, and would love to move to a home setting.
