Spencer's Story...
Spencer is stocky, playful, and bouncy (Hwy bounces as well-maybe Tigger is from this area?) Spencer is loving, likes to play with the other dogs doesn't bother the cats at all. Although he was an outside dog, he loves being a housedog and hasn't had one accident. All my newbies/pups are crated when fed, at night and when I am gone. Hwy likes this, but Spencer is adapting, although not thrilled about it. He greeted me with the rest of the pack when I came home last night, as if he had always been here : )
Please research that this is the breed for you. Pyrs do shed alot. They bark and some drool. They need a fenced yard as you will NOT train them to stay in the yard.

Adoption fee is $375 which includes neuter, up to date on shots and heartworm & flea preventative.

About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to saving Great Pyrenees and other dogs from kill shelters in the south where pet over population is a serious problem due to lack of spay and neuter. We have and will help local great pyrenees in need when space allows.
Our dogs are quarantined & vetted before coming north. We foster our dogs in our homes NOT a facility so we can get to know them and help them acclimate to living indoors as well as teach manners as many were ignored outdoor dogs.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process consists of filling out an application, a phone interview, caliing your vet andor personal references, conducting a home visit.
We do require a fanced in yard or for the dog to be leash walked only. We prefer homes that do not have very small children. Large dog experience is also required. We do have a written adoption contract and our adoption fees range from $375 to $450.
