My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Lucky and I am a 15 year old red sided Eclectus Parrot. My mommy had to give me up because of how bad I am plucking myself, she knew I wasn't happy with the new kids. I am VERY vocal, and I scream alot. My foster mommy is working on helping me not scream. So far, my foster mommy has figured out I say "Whatcha doing?" "Whatja do?" "The world is mine" "What?" "Im not a bird" "Pretty boy" "yah, yah" "come here" "hello" "hey" "Lucky bird" "oh god" and many, many more. I also make tons of bells, whistles, toots, kisses, and high pitched noises. I don't like it when people talk over a normal level. I start to go crazy and wont calm down for awhile. In the short time I have had Lucky, he is very unpredictable. One minute he will let you hold him and the next he will lunge at you if you even come near his cage. He seems to not mind older children (7+), and actually has fun talking with them. He has confused my daughter a few times with his conversations. I have not tried to see how he is around other birds yet. I will update as I get to know him more.
