Max's Story...
Max is a beautiful Golden retriever mix who is ready for his new home! Max current foster home has other dogs and cats and Max is friends with all of them. He is currently using the doggie door to go outside to do his business. Max favorite thing is to play in the backyard with his foster dad.

Max was surrendered to rescue because he got too big for the family (not sure how big they thought a golden would be). He is 9 monhts old and full of puppy playfullness. His adoption fee is $400 and includes transport to his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Glastonbury Golden Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
