My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinderella was found as a stray. A wonderful lady took her to a veterinarian, who is helping Cindi become a healthy, pretty girl. Though there are a number of things wrong with her, none are serious and all are currently being treated. The vet estimates she was on the streets for about 6 months. Cindi has a non-contagious mange and skin mites, so she doesn't have any hair right now. She had a yeast
infection in her ears, worms, and fleas. She is being treated for all of these conditions. She has been tested for heartworms and is negative. She was emaciated, though not dehydrated. She stands about 18" tall and weighs less than 20 pounds. The vet estimates she is around 1 year old based on her teeth, which were all in and in good shape. He said that she won't grow anymore, but we are trying to put some weight on her. Also, she doesn't have a tail. It looks like it was cropped off unprofessionally and way too close to her body. We can't tell at this point really what mix of breeds she is. Maybe when her hair grows in, that will give us an idea.
She will take a little time to look good while her hair
grows back, but she is very good natured. She has bright, inquisitive eyes, and seeks attention and
love. She has never growled or taken a defensive posture. Even while feeding her, the vet techs tested her demeanor and she was nothing but pleasant and loving.
The lady who found her named her Cinderella, Cindi for short, because with a little help she is going to be a beautiful princess. She does have a problem with her right front foot, though at this time she gets around on it just fine and is not in any pain.

Please find it in your heart to give Cindi a forever home. She is just too nice a dog to let go.
