Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack von Nicholson is a very handsome 18 month old German Shepherd. His bio is coming.
Per his foster family:
Jack weighs around 75 pounds, and could stand to gain a few pounds, so he's a good-sized guy. We're still getting to know Jack, but we already love him. He is very much a gentleman with everyone he meets. He can be a little shy when he meets people and will not jump about, but stand near and look at you with his soulful eyes until you give him a sign that his affection is wanted. Once he knows you're willing, he'll get closer and lean his head right into you for scratches and hugs and kisses. Everyone he meets comments on how sweet he is! Jack was living with his brother and other male and female foster dogs when we met him, and we hear that he got along well with everyone except an unaltered, dominant male. Jack has briefly been introduced to our shepherds and has gone on a few walks with them. He's very fond of our dominant female and defers to her, but he's just a bit unsure about our big male, so they are taking their time to get to know one another properly. You can tell that he really enjoys having canine buddies. Jack is a dream on a leash. He walks right next to you and matches your pace, not pulling or tugging at the end of his lead. He's such a pleasure to walk! If we pass a barking dog or something that catches Jack's eye, he takes correction very well and will move right along. Whether he's delicately lifting a treat from your hand, cuddling up next to you, or strolling along on his leash, Jack is ever the gentleman.
