Dash's Story...
This is a courtesy posting.

Dash is an adorable dog who is very people friendly. He will be one year old in January . All of his shots are up to date. Dash has to be rehomed as he is living outside right now and the weather is very cold! His owners cannot take him inside as their home is too small. Please open up your heart to this dog that is in desperate need for a real home. Since we don't have this dog in our own foster care, if you are interested please contact me and I can arrange for a meeting with his owner.

If interested please also fill out an online application at,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dash, a Farmingdale Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Farmingdale, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Farmingdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmingdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmingdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmingdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
