Jackson's Story...
My name is Jackson and me and my best friend Max, the black Lab are looking for a home together. I’m a purebred Golden Retriever who is neutered, healthy, current on shots and very well trained with exceptional house manners. I am a young 7 years old, not a crazy puppy anymore, but I still love to wrestle with Max! I love to sleep in my crate at night and I’m housetrained in every way! I’d never disappoint my people by doing anything wrong in their lovely home. I do have a sensitive tummy and prefer Hills I/D Food from my vet and I am very frightened of storms but other than that, I am perfect. Although we love where we live, my human family has to leave us behind when they venture to another Country. We can’t go with her but she is looking very hard to find us just the right new home. It makes her cry when she thinks about it and it makes Max and I worry about her. So, we hope we can find that special home for us so she can feel happy again. Please email for more info on Max and I.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Phoenix Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
