My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Python is what is known as a “fluffy” or “long-haired” Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix. She has a full tail which is small and curls neatly over her back. She is longer than she is tall, low to the ground with her stubby little legs and weighs just over 20 lbs. She has a beautiful full and lush coat that makes her feel like a stuffed animal come to life. She is approximately 3 years old.

Python is an intelligent girl, loyal and eager to please her people. She gets along fine with other non-dominant dogs and has no issues with cats in the home. She is house and crate trained and barks only when necessary. She would be fine living in an apartment as long as she got a good daily walk. With people she is calm and accepting, a bit reserved in new situations, but always friendly and affectionate.

Python’s coat is very lush and requires minimal grooming. A good brushing is all she needs to keep her beautiful and feeling great. She sheds twice a year. She does have a mind of her own and while she is well behaved and responsive to people, she is not a needy dog being able to amuse herself without any need for constant attention. She would be fine as the only dog in the home and would be a loving and devoted pet. She is not overly playful and usually prefers to sit quietly at the feet of her person.

Although small, Python is a very sturdy little dog. She would easily keep up with the bigger dogs and should be exercised daily to keep her looking fit and trim. Left to her own devices she would probably be quite the couch potato.

Python is a very easy pet and would be fine for even a first time dog owner. She is well behaved, clean and quiet in the home. She could easily be left on her own for a normal working day and would bond very strongly and would need to be a respected member of her family.

If you would like to know more about Python or you are looking for a calm, quiet companion to share your life with, please go to our website at http://uglymutts.com and submit an application for consideration.
