My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gertrude and Gretchen are a bonded mohter/daughter pair. Their origional owner (who passed away) had them since pups. Gertrude, 11, is a sweetie who loves to wake you up by kissing you - licking your face! Cretchen, 9, is very playful and loves to watch the squirrels in the yard. They may be on the older side, but you would never know it from the way they act!

Both are house broken and spayed and uo to date on shots.

They get along with other dogs, cats and children.

We would love to see them adopted together. Before their prior owner died, he had neglected to feed them and walk them, etc. and they are basking in the love in their new foster home. We think Gretchen had an eyelid injury from fighting for food, and that has been fixed by the rescue and she is just fine and has no issues at all. The reusce has paid to bring all shots, etc. up tp date with the girls, and their vet care is now current for both girls. We had Gertrude's teeth looked at and she is not in any pain/distress, so both girls are now ready to find a loving forever home!

Won't you open your heart to these two cuties???!!??
