RUDY's Story...
"Rudy, the rescue Boston Terrier, had a very shiny nose and if you ever saw it, you would even say it glowed!"

Hello. My name is Rudy. I was rescued from a concrete hog pen this Christmas season and I am so thankful to have the gift of life. I am a pure bred Boston Terrier. I have brindle coloring that is black and tan. I have white on my face and a little on my feet. I weigh 24.5lbs and I'm 18 months old. I am heart worm negative, neutered, up to date on my shots and healthy as a reindeer!

I am such a sweet boy, if I do say so. I hear my foster Mommy brag to everyone. She tells them "He is an angel." I play well with all my foster siblings, get along well with cats and I love children. I am a timid fellow when I first meet you. I am learning to trust all over again. Once I have figured out you are not on the naughty list; we are buddies for life! I have even begun to smile! I like to snuggle and am learning to kiss again. I will cuddle with you at bed time, but when I am ready to sleep, I enjoy lying on a blanket by myself.

Let's hang Christmas stockings together next year. Please call my foster Mama, Lisa at 706-466-3603.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUDY, a North Augusta Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in North Augusta, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in North Augusta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Augusta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Augusta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Augusta paves the way for another one to be saved.
