Snowball's Story...
Just in time for Christmas, here he is ...Snowball!!

Snowball is a purebred, white, male, neutered and declawed Doll-faced Persian. So sweet, so handsome, so wonderful. It just doesn't get any better than this. He's so good looking that he doesn't even look real. He's a Purr-fect cat in every way.

Snowball has been Vet Checked, Neutered, Fully vaccinated, combo tested negative for FeLV/FIV, Declawed, dewormed, flea free and has been bathed & professionally groomed. He is also micro-chipped for permanent identification. His adoption fee is $200.00 which helps defray these expenses and also goes toward supporting the other cats in our rescue. Since Snowball is declawed, he MUST be kept as an indoor only cat. He gets along fine with other cats, well behaved dogs and kind children.

Please email us for an adoption application.

Our rescue cats/kittens are tested for Heartworm, Feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations and receive flea & worm treatment. They are also bathed, groomed & get a nail trim. The adoption fee helps defray these expenses.

A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one.

Our cats are fed only Hill's Science Diet brand cat foods, thanks to Hill's Shelter Nutrition Partnership program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowball, a Chattanooga Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
