Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, people! My name is Sandy, and I’m a shy coonhound/beagle girl with big hopes and lots of potential! My family just recently informed me that they were moving and that I was not coming along. Naturally, the news came as quite a shock and I cried for a long time. They brought me to the shelter, and the first thing I noticed was that some of the dogs barked so loud, which scared me. I was very nervous. One morning, I heard a quiet voice from a few doors down and this little beagle said to me, “Don’t worry, little girl. Everything will be alright…you just have to come out and see the people who stop to meet you.” A few nice individuals did sit in my kennel run and wait for me to come to them, and I soon learned that being here may be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I have the opportunity to meet my new forever family! So even though I’m still a shy girl, I am ready to meet the people who are going to adopt me. I have so much to offer them. I am young (only 9 months old), small (only 25 pounds), almost housebroken and good with kids, other dogs and cats. If what I’ve described to you here sounds like a match for your family, please call. I will be the little one waiting at the end of the kennel row!
