Cipro's Story...
Cipro is looking for a foster home. Can you help?

Cipro is an 8 year old mantle male with natural ears. He and his Doberman brother lose their home in the beginning of January and we haven't been able to find him a foster or adoptive home yet. He's a handsome mantle (or would be if he were to lose some weight). He's had a cancer scare, but the vet was able to remove the tumor completely and he's been doing well and running and playing. He is best buddies with his dobe friend, and loves his human mom as well. He's OK with older kids but younger ones are too much for this quiet boy. If you're looking for a loyal, quiet companion to dream with by the fire, Cipro's the dane for you. If you've got a kind heart and go to mush for older danes who deserve only comfort and love in their golden years, ask for Cipro!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cipro, a York Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in York, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in York paves the way for another one to be saved.
