Well Hello There! My name is Gizmo, but my foster family calls me ‘Mo’. I am 3 ½ years old and I enjoy belly rubs, rides in the car and a good game of tug-of-war. My foster family says that I am a very “unique” bulldog. While I have some very bully characteristics, I have some quirkiness about me too. No bully is boring! I have more wrinkles and extra skin than I know what to do with! Because of this have to take Fluconazole to help keep my wrinkles clean and healthy. This is about $30 a month from the vet. My loose skin gets a little itchy sometimes so I will have to be on some good food and may require a Benadryl from time to time. Also, a good bath once a week is a must! It feels GRRRREAT! The big wrinkle between my eye also makes it a little tough for me to see. Sometimes I walk extra cautiously to make sure I don’t bump into things, other times I jog around and just hope for the best! I try hard not to miss things, so if it seems worth the effort, I will tilt my head every which way until I can focus on the object in question (I hope it is a treat!). I probably wouldn’t do good with stairs, since I don’t see that well and my big wrinkly face makes me a little top heavy. I have had a surgery done on my eye wrinkles to help get them out of my face. The surgery MAY need to be redone in a year or two. Someone who knows bulldogs is a huge plus for me! I love food and eat with gusto! But most of the day I really just enjoy to sleep in my dog bed. I like my foster brother and sister dogs and cats just fine, but wouldn’t mind being spoiled as the only dog either. I would be best with kids older than 8. I can get a little “mouthy” when I play, and wouldn’t want to accidentally hurt a youngin’.
